We'll be trying our best to get something done for this weekend, but I never make promises during this type of thing, as I can see what that leads to.

I'm sorry if this has been asked.

Will this roster set include retired players, HOF, and career leaders?

I would really like to see if Bonds passes Aaron.

Thanks in advance.

very good question, I'd like to know as well.

On a side note, Erich, did you receive my PM?

In that case, he wouldn't be going to the Astros.

Ok, just to let people know, in all my accidents that I had while making the set. And by accidents I mean clicking the advance a day button by accident, Clemens was always signed by the Astros for about 18 million.

Good to hear. Leave him as a FA!

If that's the case, leave him in the free agents.

I know for Mogul, every single game I played, he signed with either the Marlins, Mariners, or Rockies.

I thought I had heard somewhere that players will often sign with teams near their home. I don't know if that has anything to do with it...but it's pretty cool if it does.

The AI when ti comes to free agent signing and releasing is absolutely horrendous and I'll be the first to tlel you that. I've posted many problems over there regarding the AI and the once horrible auto-sort AI, which is now pretty much good after I posted literally 40+ examples, but the thing is, a team like Florida has money because they have such a miniscule payroll. So when it comes to computer AI, it uses that money too sign a good player. (He's usually asking for around 10 million in mogul, with my rosters, and salary demands toned down a little)

If he goes to Houston most of the time in OOTP, i say its fair to leave him in the free agent pool.

hey

What's up everyone. I've been playing this game for years and I know CubbyFan from another forum. He's alot nicer to the guys here then the guys over there.

Anyways, I'll be helping by making a 2006 photo set of everyone they're gonna have in the roster set...hopefully it'll be done around the same time there rosters are done.

Another Cubs fan here, unfortunately.

Care to combine forces? I've already begun the exact same thing and have finished the ML rosters, AAA and double A and have begun work on A

Of course, less work for both of us. Like I told you, I've begun work on the NL Central A teams.

Just wanted to ask a quick one, because in previous verisions of rosters done by various folks, there is always the tendency to inflate the value of your favorite teams prospects. You look at a guy, and see something more, and I think that's natural.

Just curious how you are rating the minor leaguers. Perhaps trying to base it off the Baseball America top 100, and individual system top 30 rankings ? I can see some moving about, but it'd be nice to see the package release with ratings fairly close to those, since it's as close to a consensus "best" or widely accepted rankings.

And yes, and big thanks for taking the time and the effort to do these !

Yes, they will be much appreciated. I don't think I'm the only one when I say I haven't even begun playing the game yet because I'm waiting foer this set to be released (not to mention the first patch).
