Historical series that never ends

I am in my second season of historical (1932-33) and I am GM of the Leafs. They are playing the Maroons in the finals - and I am currently leading the best of seven series 5 games to 1 - every time I win, the game schedules another game in the series

You can find instructions here: How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Powered by Kayako Help Desk Software

They're written for OOTP (I misplaced the FHM specific instructions for the moment) but the basic principle is the same for both games.

I look into your save and when I play and winn a game, the series is over. Could you describe in detail what you do to play the game?

If you look at the schedule for the final - you will see that 6 games have been scheduled and the Leafs have won 5 and the Maroons 1 - with another game set in two days time. If you played and won that one - then the Leafs would have won the best of seven 6 games to 1.

I usually sim to next game, and then play the game. Let the AI set up my lineup and away I go. Nothing really out of the ordinary I think
