How do you slow the baseball trivia screen down?

When I play games out in the one pitch mode I can never see and read that baseball trivia screen at all. It flashes to it between innings but it does just that. The game flashes that page then it flashes back to the "BNN" game screen and remains there until its time to take a break in the action of the ball game again and flash to the trivia page as before and then back. I've gone into the "Options" and I've tried slowing down the play by play but this does not slow down this baseball trivia page at all. Can anyone suggest where I can slow this screen viewing down so I can read and enjoy it finally?

Can't be slowed down.

Go to your OOTP Folder, find the folder named "misc". Inside there is a file called "Hints"

Open that and you read them all. You can also add/remove any you wish to.

Thanks Bluenoser, not the answer I was expecting. Seems strange to have that screen pop up and one can't see it long enough to make it be a worthwhile thing to have in the game. More of a teaser or one of those "subliminal messages" some movie editors used to add between frames in old films to sneakily influence viewers to buy buy or do something....I guess I'm dating myself now so I had better quit.

You could always run the game on a slower computer.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

The reason is, it doesn't normally show up in-between innings. I don't see it, anyway. Your computer's probably a little slower than most, which is what's causing it to appear then (and switching innings isn't an intensive process, which is why it disappears so quick). Those blurbs are mainly there for the save screen and other more intensive operations, in which case they do appear long enough to read.

Haha, that's what I was thinking. I just bought a new laptop and now I miss even more of the trivia than before.
