Player still on roster after option voided.

As you can see from the screenshot, I voided this players option and paid the buyout. He still shows up on my roster several weeks into free agency. Is this a bug?

Looks like you signed him to a 7 year contract before 2032 with Player opt out after 4 seasons with last year team option.
The player decided to Opt in to his contract for year 5 while you declined year 7, so he might still be on your team next year as well unless the last 2 years were team options.

Why would it ask me to make a decision on the option year so far in advance? In the past I haven't made the call on an option until the offseason before.

What shows up on his contract page or in the editor? Do you have player expenses for the season which would match up with the buyout?

I confirmed that the previous poster was right. It was originally a 7 year deal with an opt out after year 4 and year 7 was a team option. So the odd thing is that it asked for my decision on the option year after year 4 instead of after year 6. The contract screen and editor now reflect it as a 6 year deal with no options, so that option year has been voided. I've played into the season now, so I'm not sure how to tell if that buyout shows up in my expenses. I'm guessing it does since it shows up in my transactions log.

Also, I'm not sure if it matters, but this contract was created in OOTP20 and then converted over to OOTP21.
