Can you run ootp 8 and ootp 9 at same time?

I have purchased ootp9 and am in a league using ootp 8. A few questions:
Are there any issues using ootp 9 when everyone else uses version 8?
If so, is it possible to run both version off the same pc using 8 for the league and 9 for solo?

Thanks - Steve

There won't be any conflicts with you having both installed. I have 2007, 8, and 9 all installed.

Everyone in the league will have to use the same version, though.

You have both 2007 and 8 installed at the same time for testing purposes or something?

Everyone in online leagues needs the same major version except 2007 and 8 which are compatible.

2007 because I've been too lazy to move my online league file over to 8, and 8 because I've been too lazy to uninstall it.

no problem running both

I wasn't sure if the ootp 9 files would copy over the ootp 8 but after installing ootp 9 it created its own subdirectory so it is all designed to let the user use both versions at the same time.
