I need all managers who have not yet signed up at the forum to do so now so I may easily contact you
IBL - Index Currently I think Chicago & Milwaukee (Jeffro23 & Brewers194) are the only 2 not signed up |

I don't like some of the rules, otherwise I'd join.

It clearly states...
2.) I will take ideas for rules AND settings from the managers to help tailor the league to the management liking as well as whether we use 2007 or 2008 |

Here are the rules that I don't like:
To sign players on waivers, You must post your intent to sign in the proper forum location. These will be processed by team position in the League and Division (I think it should be done in game and not in the forums) IBL Basic Rules: Each team will have an ML and AAA affiliate. Interleague Play will be on - There will be no DH (I frankly think this is bad for the game) - Make pitchers hit Major league teams must have a completely filled-out lineup vs. L/RHP + DH, must have at least 4 pitchers slotted in as SPs and 5 pitchers slotted in as RPs, and must have a depth chart that is reasonably set up to utilize all hitters on the roster. There must be at least 23 players on the roster. (These two rules are contradictory - why fill out all lineups if DH is not used) Most special events – including (but not limited to) the Amateur and Rule 5 Drafts – are considered mandatory. The Commissioner will spell out the participation requirements that must be met in advance of these events. Important league votes are also considered mandatory. (I agree that you must attend Amateur, but no Rule 5, especially if you have no intention of making a pick) Although there is no minimum writing requirement, I have found that the more people participate in posting, The more active and interesting a league becomes. The league does not require any posting at all, But a stagnant forum leads to a stagnant league. It is for the best intrest of the league (and all of it's participants) to try and post as often as possible to keep the forum (and league) lively. (I am not a writer, but I will actively post if I feel the need) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *** I'd also like a point system for articles written about your team and/or the league as well as daily betting on real games like NFL, NBA, NCAA, MLB*** Points could be used to improve your players, up to a certain value *** If you want more info about this send me a PM *** |

For anyone reading this or thinking of this league, But have problems with the rules, Let me be clear
The rules posted are basic guidelines and as I stated any AND ALL are subject to revision and or deletion - I am hoping to get all gm's together to help write the final rules so the league is tailored to you likings not some arbitrary rules. I posted some rules as place holders - If we do not like them, Let's change them - Just tell me what you want for rules and let's get 'em written up As far as posting - I never said you had to, I just stated my observations |

Bump......
Just trying to fill 9 more spots - You guys can pick the teams rather than pick from what is left (fictional players) Forum Up IBL - Index Website started (no real news yet) but will be used once season starts Baseball Today I am also taking suggestions for rules so the league can be tailored to our play Would like to start ASAP (as quickly as I can get the teams filled) |

If I cannot fill this league by next week, I will just fold the idea since it seems to not be drawing lots of interest
