Keeping with the Asian fighters - Here is the needing "tweak" for Khaosai Galaxy - (JBW).

Here is what seems to be the consensus ratings for Khaosai Galxy - This is from myself (I've watched dozens of his fights) a friend / trading partner in Asia (along with several of his boxing acquaintences - who have all seen dozens of Galaxy fights.....some live) ... as well as Joe Koizumi (foremost expert on boxing in Asia)..

Another great Asian fighter -

Here is the BoxRec link for Ratanapol Sor Vorapin -(and note by the time he lost to Zolani Pethelo and his other 2 losses...he was much past his prime...)..

http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=003582

What his game ratings should be are as follows -

Ratanapol Sor Vorapin (Strawweight)

Control vs Boxer 11
Control vs Slugger 11
Hitting Power 10
Chin vs Knockdown 2
Chin vs Knockout 2
Recovery 2
Resistance to Cuts 2
Absorb Punishment 1
Killer Instinct 9
Aggressiveness 8 (some discusson of a 9 here)
Endurance 8
Defense 2
Fast Starter 1
Fight on Ropes 2

Conditioning 1
Intellect 7
Proficiency 10

Fight Inside 4
Fight Outside 1
Cover Up 1
Go for Knockout 3

Clinching 71

Style Slugger

Here is some suggestions for Sung Kil Moon the very good JBW champion in the late 80's early 90's - (link above has pictures)

Ratings

Control vs Boxer 9

Control vs Slugger 10 (Moon was very solid Vs an opponent who stand and trade....he actually hoped for his...boxers gave him a slight bit more trouble)

Hitting Power 9 (( is about right...but I'd give him a slight boost in his 3pt values for hooks)

Chin vs Knockdown 3 (he was kd from time to time...but always got up and would roar back)

Chin vs Knockout 1

Recovery 2

Resistance to Cuts 3 (he did cut)

Absorb Punishment 2 (tough call here...I have him at a 2...my friend from Japan reccommends him at a 1)

Killer Instinct 8

Aggressiveness 9 (he was all pressure)

Endurance 8 (this is another tough one -straight up I would say an 8 is fine...but in a way endurance is the one factor within the game TBCB that can allow for the intangibles....such as heart, desire, etc ....a possibly 9 here....again I have him at an 8.....my fellow japan counterpart suggest a 9)

Defense 2 (he could be hit...and often left himself wide open because of his aggressiveness....though maybe a 1 would do...but I have him at a 2 ...and I think that is more accurate )

Fast Starter 1

Fight on Ropes 2

Draw Power 5

Conditioning 1 (was always in shape.....until his last few fights where making weight seemed to be hurting him)

Intellect 7

Proficiency 10

Fight Inside 3 (liked to get in close and bang with hooks)

Fight Outside 1

Cover Up 2

Go for Knockout 3

Clinching 70

Punches landed 39
Counter Punches 38

Punches Missed 62 / 63 (He would throw punches in volume and was open for counters)

So - there is what I have on the books for Sung Kil Moon - (your 2pt - 3pt punches look about right on....I might slighly increase what you have for 3pt hooks)

Thanks for posting these Asian fighters Chris. They are a group that have definately been under-represented in the game.

Shane.

TOMMY ABOBO BW (1926-1933) Overall Rating = 2

Born - Philippines
Hometown - Brooklyn, New York, USA

21(1)-83-16

Abobo was born in the Philippines but did all of his boxing in New York. He outpointed Jimmy Doyle for the New York State National Guard Bantamweight belt in 1929 but lost it on his first defense to Fred Monte. For the most part, Tommy was a staple opponent for nearly every bantam or flyweight that passed through New York in the late twenties and early thirties. He lost bouts to Henry Catena, Black Bill, Tommy Lorenzo, Izzy Schwartz, Teddy Baldock, Abe Wasserman, Lew Monte, Benny Tell and Midget Wolgast among others. Amazingly, with all of the losses that he piled up, Abobo was only stopped twice in 120 pro bouts.
