It's been awhile since I played FHM2. I was most interested in trying to get an online league started but realized the Online Component of FHM2 was very bare. Perhaps things have changed since then, but here is my wishlist. Most has already been mentioned, but I'd like confirmation if Sebastian thinks it may make it's way into FHM3.
Online Enhancements 1. Import/Export feature like OOTP online (apologies if this has already been added) 2. HTML reports, once again.. another great OOTP online feature. It helps with immersion big time. I'd like the ability to see my team rosters, stats and schedule on an html page instead of booting into the game and looking at it. Makes it convinient when browsing my online league at work. 3. Early draft class preview. The ability to see the draft class before the draft actually starts allows online leagues to get a head start on their drafting, without holding up the league too much. 4. Historical page where I can view seasons past. If my online league was 10 years down the road, I'd like to be able to revisit season 1 and see who the scoring leaders were that season, or who the teams were who made the playoffs. General Features 1. ISS Draft Rankings. Not a must have feature, but one that seems like it wouldn't be as difficult to implement as the suggestions above, and would add a big a lot to the game. 2. Prospect Rankings. OOTP has a Baseball America ranking page, where you can see the best prospects in the game. Would be a cool feature to see that introduced in FHM3. 3. Custom Playoffs. Allow us to limit the number of teams that can make the playoffs. Especially important for fictional leagues with a lower amount of teams. |

One thing I miss dearly is a centralized location where I can find all the teams trades and the draft selections (including the current team of those picks). I like to come back after a few years and analyze my trades and picks. I know you can already do that somewhat but the transactions are at a league level and the draft selections is hidden somewhere.
As a junior team, to have access to the NHL periodical scouting reports an d NHL draft so it might help the team player management. I noticed too that the drafts rules are not applied in the junior ranks (I run a Quebec Major Junior Hockey team and I can draft 15 years old anytime. The rule restricts it to the 5 first rounds). Forgive me for raising this again, but I'd appreciate Sebastian's feedback to my post as I'm not even sure if it was seen - it was at the very bottom of page 4 so might have been missed and my PM to Sebastian hasn't been read. It is post #80.
Thanks! http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...05-post80.html |

I do understand that, of course. I'm simply giving it a try given that Sebastian has been responding more lately than at that time, and because I have made similar suggestions in other threads also without much acknowledgement.
As a faithful FHM supporter since early access, I naturally feel very strongly about what I believe would make this franchise better. So as I said, I'd "appreciate Sebastian's feedback." Thanks very much. |

I think it is perfectly fine to hope for your own dream features. We just have not much time at the moment to answer all requests.

Thanks, we work hard every day to further improve the game. We have some many ideas that we will not run out of them in the next 10+ years I guess.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned or noticed this but editing lines right now seems like a lot of clicking. As well as needing to dress/scratch players and needing to right click > change position. Will those be any different in FHM3?

I'd just like an AI that doesn't stick Z-tier players straight out of junior on its major league teams while better options rot in the minors. Better roster management AI would be cool.

Thanks Sebastian, I do appreciate the feedback and am pleased that we will see at least incremental improvement on these things. And of course I'll continue to make suggestions to push in those directions.
As for the GUI I'll try to make specific suggestions after playing FHM 3, as it's been too long since playing 2 to give good examples. But it's mostly around clicking to view standings and traditional stats (GP-G-A-Pts etc) more immediately than secondary player ratings, and from there more intuitively into past seasons' team stats or standings. I kept getting frustrated trying to find the right menu links or toggles to get where I wanted to go. So I'll wait for FHM 3 and suggest from there. |

At this time I think it is pretty solid. Much faster than EHM. You don't have to change a players position to put them in that position. Just drag and drop from the left hand side of the screen into the position you want. As time goes on they will get better at that position it will become their main one. Unless of course you are using the assistant to set lines, then you may want to manually change their position so the assistant recognizes it as their main one when auto filling.

I am wondering if there is a way to present the statistics in FHM3 more along the lines of the Hockeydb.com or, even better, the hockey-reference.com.
Not that I necessarily dislike how they are in FHM2, but it would be very slick to look like one of the above named sites. |

Ability for program to auto size for tablets/surface pros etc.
Ability to play an exhibition game. In other words, just feel like seeing what would happen if two teams played each other. Play one game without having to be in a season. With above said, tournament mode with teams of your choosing. |

Again sorry, but that is not on our priority list either for FHM 3.

Ai Roster/lines managing
1)I would like to see strategy preferencies play a more important role.
Ex. If the coach chose physical defensive style, my expectations is to see a difference in the roster and lines composition. And If I put PPs on Total offense, they are not suppose to be recalls of the first 2 5on5 lines. Some PP specialists (particularly when they are youngs) play 3rd or 4th line but are on PPs. 2)Use of backup goalies. It's seems ok for modern, or early NHL areas. But for 60's, 70's and 80's, most teams plays their goalies almost 50/50. And I would like the possibility to choose my starter for the next 5 or 10 games. It would be usefull for online leagues. |

A player's career stats show the year and team played for, that would be a link to that team's player stats for that year. Team stats should navigate to next year / previous year using arrows, as should the league standings above it. |
