I just completed a season with a 3 man rotation. Here are the results

I used the "go on vacation" setting for a season just to see how my team would do with an AI manager instead of me, and I forgot go back and make the pitching changes that the AI made for the next season. So I guess they thought a 3 man rotation was good enough, and well it sure as hell was. Finished the season with 117-45. Jorge Lara won the pitching triple crown. My league had gone through a "dead ball" period which only lasted for 3 years. The league batting average was at like .240 so they decided to lower the mound. Offense exploded next season, but it looks like it was no match for my starters. Also these are all homegrown pitchers. I drafted/signed all 3.

Jeezus -- 344 IP ??? Somewhere, Tony LaRussa is not amused.

And not one of the 3 SPs suffered any kind of injury? Are you worried about next season?

Whats you pitching stamina set to and how many total games?
I have tried a 4 man in 2017 with 1987 strategy and my top 2 SP were always tired. Stamina set to Normal. 1975 MLB schedule.

There are two places where SP stamina can be set, league totals and general strategic tendencies. The latter combined with relief pitcher use/closer use can completely change the game.

Can the OP show the general strategic settings via screenshot?

When I make a fantasy league now, I always go with a fatigue setting for pitchers that lets my starters pitch like they used to in the old days. It takes the fun out of things to see pitchers babied like they are in real life, and I like the idea of starting pitchers being able to total 250 plus innings. It makes acquiring top starting pitching a much more key part of winning.

I agree, but with pitchers getting PAID ridiculous money (Kershaw) compared to the old days, I don't think we'll ever see this go away, which sucks.

Just because you choose High Stamina over on the left hand side of league settings, make sure you take a look on the right.

I have 1950 settings, yet my SP Stamina and Sac bunt was .926 and .602 respectively
