How to add more talent to the amateur draft?
Well I just hit year 2012 in my 1986 league. So that means it will start to create random players instead of historical amateurs. But I am getting basically no good players. I had the 10th overall pick this year and there was only one 80 rated player that said was a SP but was suggested to be used in bullpen which is another thing that bothers me. I wish they would just list them as MR. Then the next guy down was rated at 73 he was a CF and had terrible potentials. Then the rest of the amateurs were projected to be bench players or bullpen. So how can I increase the amount of talent?

The "suggested role" for pitchers is based on current ratings, not what they can be in the future.

When I saw that my drafts were a little lean on talent I just increased the "Generate players for X rounds" number. It gave me top end talent and all the extra players just increased my free agent list with a lot of one star players.
