2018 Historic Import Stats Inaccurate

Hello, can anyone direct me to a thread that discusses why the database fails to give accurate abilities for imports of historic season 2018? This must be a known issue by now and I'm late in noticing - but so many of the imports I have tried have yielded stats that don't make sense. Here are Freddie Freeman and Blake Snell's import of 2018 (screen shots). It's as if the database is off by a column or row and pulling the wrong numbers to build the player. Occasionally I'll see something in another historic season but for the most part they are fine... but 2018 seems a mess. As OOTP 20 draws to a close, has this been logged as something to address in OOTP21?

I just tried it and I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Can you provide more info?

Thanks for looking at this. I started a fictional league and was importing real players into it. My base stats ratios are 30/15/50/5 (photo attached) and it works fine for grabbing players from history for the most part but every 2018 import is wonky. It's the basic import historic player settings except 1. I check "Keep selected season's stats in career stats for ease of knowing what year I grabbed and 2) based on neutralized stats instead of real stats. Blake Snell has an ERA of 7 based on this 2018 import (OSA scouting is precise and I am commissioner so can see stats based on all ratings in editor. Even Mike Trout has a .388 if I import from 2018...

I believe neutralized stats were not added for the 2018 season. So, that'd be part of the problem. I'm not even sure neutralized stats function properly for prior seasons. Spritze would be the man to ask.

Many thanks for the reply and insight. I reckon the 2018 stats not having a neutralized version is because 2018 is the year historic stats are being neutralized into. In good news, using real stats results in rational 2018 results (see a Blake Snell with real stats to compare to the previously posted one). If the most recent year can't be neutralized, hopefully the developer team considers dropping a sentence in the on-line manual to make that clear.

It would be wildly disconcerting if neutralizing stats wasn't working for previous years but I'm relieved to report that aside from 2018, all my other imports have resulted in stats that meet my expectations.

PM Spritze. He could tell you what's what. But, IIRC, Spritze chose not to add neutralized stats to this version.
