Historical Team Mode

Hello again everyone!

I am about to start a new save and have always done the MLB quickstart for whichever version it is and feel like I have been missing out. Any fun ideas for what era I should start at?

I was thinking about doing the Seattle Pilots to Milwaukee Brewers...does it automatically do it for you when the proper year arrives? I ideally would like to do a team that just started if possible but am open to different scenarios!

I am not much of a baseball history buff which is why I figured some of you guys in here would have some great ideas.

As long as you have league evolution turned on, it will change over as it did in real life.

1903, start of the first world series. turn on historical rookies, set it to OOTP development engine, and then once the game starts manually go in the settings and turn scouting back on with acuracy set to the lowest. It's an absolute blast and it's crazy seeing how many greats fizzle out and how many never beens have an amazing career.

And yes, it does update teams names, stadiums, and locations accordingly. Make sure you grab the historical uniforms from the modding central so that they wear ear appropriate uniforms too.
