Trying to make historical rookies act this way
So my friend and I play with historical players being randomly put into the draft and we use the OOTP development for everyone. However one thing I can't seem to change is that the rookie draft has most of the players highly developed and a couple years older when they get drafted. So people come in at 3-5 stars and fully major league ready instead of being drafted a little bit younger with development needing happen. It also becomes a problem because now it's less likely you get busts this way or have players develop different than they did in real life.
I'm trying to find the right settings to make this better when using random rookies from all eras if anyone knows what I need to change tl;dr I want rookies from all eras to not be well developed and older going into first year player drafts, instead for them to be younger and needing minor league time generally |

AFAIK this is not possible. You can either have historical minors (meaning that players come at minor league age), or random debut, but not both unfortunately.

Oh you mean if you're playing years in order with the correct draft class for that year? Maybe that's why I remember it from previous versions
