Prolonged Homerun slump for Third Baseman
Hey guys. Was wondering if my game was glitching out or something but I got Dick Allen who has 71 HR power. I played him for 32 games and he got 0 homeruns which I found kinda strange so what I did was I got Machado to replace him, the one with 73 HR power and so far Machado has played 15 games without a HR. 47 games without a HR from power hitting third baseman seems a bit strange. Anyone experience anything similar to this?? Maybe I just have bad luck haha

Which league? How about the rest of his stats?
He has very high GAP power so maybe most of his hits resulted in doubles or triples? Also, you could have faced 8-10 teams that had their ballparks set to .900 for HRs and very high rates for doubles and triples. Or maybe lots of starters with high movement? It is a small sample size and not getting the expected HR rate (4-5 during that timeframe) is possible. Just like in real life, most hitters go through hot/cold month. |

Very possible. Just as I checked him right now he hit his first homerun in his 20th game. So between 32 games from Dick Allen and 20 from Manny Machado I finally get a hr at third base haha In 20 games he has 17 hits, 5 doubles, 1 hr, 9 RBI, 6 walk, 17 SO .246 average Have him lowered down to 6. He has been a disappointment to say the least haha I haven't checked the other teams ballparks but I did move into the silver division so the teams that I have been facing have been fairly good. |
