Looking forward to seeing what the Zephyrs can do in here. Setting a modest goal of 73 wins...

You guys are going down! I've got the best left handed pitching mashing lineup you've ever seen!
Oh, what's that? 14 games into the season and I've yet to face a lefty? |

But yeah, I noticed last year the utter lack of lefties. I think I only faced like 15 or 20 all season. |

I was wondering if I had bought a defective Kevin Brown. He started the season 0-2 with a 7.08 ERA. He proved me wrong in his most recent start vs the Bloomingdale Bandits. He struck out 6, walked 2, and allowed no hits in a complete game no hit shutout.

And that game came two weeks to the day after my Dierker threw a no-hitter (4 BB, 4 K) in the second game of the season - what a year so far, and it's still April!

OMG...Ohtani threw a no-hitter. Two in one month for my team, and one against us.
Both of ours were against the Woodpeckers...sorry! |

I just checked in and saw that my Clippers are in 1st with one of the best records in the game! It's our best start ever. Who knows, maybe we'll finally top 90 wins for the 1st time (but somehow I doubt that will happen). Our pitching and defense are finally good again. Weird.
p.s. - At the moment, we're playing a 4 game set vs the Grypons Red who've won 9 straight so I'm just hoping we can get a split from them.

Did somebody secretly replace my offense with dark sparkling Folgers crystals?

Well, you took all 4 from us and all were close, so you guys finally got your revenge. And we've now lost 10 of our last 11 games while your team has won 18 straight!!

That was the most ridiculous run I have ever seen from one of my teams. There were some crazy tight games in there - 8 were by 2 or less runs and even some extra innings. But man I'll take it. This team has been frustrating over the past two seasons. I used to think it was going to be a sure bet to jump to perfect before my gold team, but it either had season long batting slumps or pitching slumps in alternating years. I'll take the very cool 4000PP bonus for that streak though!! |

Hey Orcin... any idea what's up with Motorhead and the Flatville Maroons? Still in the league, still not cap compliant... someone has to have them in their friends' list no?
Might be a super guy, but obviously not aware of the cap arrangement... two years in a row... |

The part that annoys me is this... he asked to join and was added to everyone's list by his request. Maybe he was tired of the cap and that's fine, but he is taking advantage of our cap now. He checks the forum every day according to his profile and he is ignoring the threads where we have repeatedly brought it up. Perhaps he is away from PT for a few weeks and only has access to the Internet but not the game. That's understandable but why not tell us? |

on the plus side, it's not like he's tearing up the league or anything (can't see the current standings, but last one posted he was a game under .500).... they were relegated back to Gold after season 10, and I don't believe have made the post season in their seasons with the Diamond cap league... just goes to show that the high OVR cards don't always mean success.... |
