It'll probably be another century before this finishes.

So, three teams left to go.
Expected time until the first new winner is 10 years (30 teams / 3 possible new winners) Expected time, after that, until the next new winner is 15 years (30 teams / 2 possible new winners) Expected time, after that, until the final winner is 30 years (30 teams / 1 possible new winner) So, on average, we will still have 10+15+30 = 55 years to go. That would put us at 2143. |

2088...again
So OOTP froze and I had to force quit, so the 2088 season was wiped out. No better option than to sim it again. Oh well.
Awards and HOF were the same. Regular season standings... Batting leaders... Pitching leaders... And playoffs... WOW. What a bizarre way to win a championship (with the game crashing), but the St. Louis Cardinals finally have a title. 28 of 30 teams have won. |

That's why you should do monthly auto-saves in this kind of project.

FINALLY!! Clearly, the baseball gods were displeased that the Cardinals hadn't won yet.
Bonus points for finally getting vengeance for that whole Denkinger thing. Only took 103 years, but revenge is a dish best served cold.

2089
My apologies for the 2088 wipe, but we'll get moving into 2089, and I'm going to save a lot more often now. I turned a couple settings off to limit the file size, and hopefully we can wrap this up sooner rather than later. Just the Mets and Nationals remain.
MVP: AL- Schultz NL- Sergio Avina (PHI) Cy Young: AL- Juan Custodio (DET) NL- Goshe ROY: AL- Eric Bunnell (NYY) NL- Joe Zimmerman (CIN) HOF: Dan Morris, Seow Regular season standings... Batting leaders... Pitching leaders... And playoffs... Well, if you thought last year didn't count, here you go. |

It's fall break. I've been busy, so sorry for the delay.

Batting leaders... Pitching leaders... And playoffs... So the Mets made the playoffs, but did nothing in them. |

As a Rockies fan, I'm loving this five-year stretch they are on. Four 100+ winning seasons and 99 wins in 2090 prior to those four. Two championships.
I'm pretty sure I can't wait until the 2090's though. Longevity runs in my family, sure, but that's probably pushing it. |
