Historic Draft league

I am wanting to set up a league with a initial draft starting in 1951 with historic players. i.e. historic players on drafted teams

I can not figure out how to do this.

Any help appreciated.

Not clear on what kind of draft you want in 1951 as there was not one until the mid-1960's.

Historic with minor leagues or not?

I want to release all the players from their teams in 1951, and then hold my own draft of those players.

I don't know about minor leagues, I want 1952 draft to be reverse standings to include the 1952 actual rookies.
