Hi, to be in an online league do you have to add something extra besides the game? I have a friend along with my self that are interested in playing in a league, I just don't know how. This is the first time I have bought the computer game, but I have played the game on the iPad for a few years now. Thanks for your help!

Just the game, it's exactly the same as solo play but you download and upload the league file through the game.

Some leagues you actually don't need the game as you just send the commish a list of changes you want to make but I'd advise you joining a league that you need the game, less messing about and imo more enjoyable having the game than sending a list in.

There is also a fair amount of information you don't get from HTML reports that can only be found in the game. Generally speaking, you'll have a more enjoyable online league experience if you own the game and can review/adjust things yourself.

To the OP, if you're looking to join a league run by someone else, then all you need is the game. If you want to run a league between you and your friend, you'll need a web presence, FTP software, and the like to facilitate sharing of your files.

True, I've never been in a league that you didn't need to have the game but personally I'd keep away from them, to me having the game is a must in a league.
