Trouble with 2 person online league and NO WEBSITE
Hi,
My friend & I used OOTP 13. We started with Allsimbaseball.com hosting it and eventually moved to a friends server since he could provide us with free space. After a year off we're trying to set it up again with OOTP 16. I followed the online setup videos (using my friends server data of course) and all the tests work fine. He can upload his team file. I (as commish) can import his team file and I can export the league file. But when my friend tries to import his league file it says no new file exists even though it is clearly there on the server exactly where it should be and we both have our online league settings (and directories) set up exactly the same. The only thing I can think of that is different from the video I watched is that I skipped the part about the website and database. We have no use for the online website and I assumed the database was merely to run that website. Was I wrong? Will the game not work properly if you do not have the website set up or a database set up on your server? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, JR |

did you send him a new copy of:
accountsdata_gms.dat from your settings folder after you put him in the league? It goes in his settings folder too If he has that and still can't get the file have him go into his settings folder and delete: online_league_file_time.cfg and try again, that is the time stamp that tells his game if his files need updated Good Luck

We'll give that a try and see if it helps. Thanks!
