Import Historical Player

Hi Folks,
I am running the 1980 Season over again in career mode. I am now trying to import historical players. I have read whats said in these forums and also the online manuel. I still can't get it to work. For example..
I have selected roy halladay. i dont know what file to select so i have tried lots of them. I got the shtml from baseballreference.com hallaro01. But no matter what i always get the ERROR "Historical player import failed " message.
I am using windows vista on an Asus laptop. I'm sure there is a lot i am doing wrong but im new to ootp.

You want either the historical database.odb or the master .cvs
I am on 11 not 12 but it's not any different.

wow, you make it look so easy Wish it was that simple from here. When i click import player the screen pops up and says this...
C:/programfiles(x86)/outoftheparkdevelopments/ootpbaseball12/default_data
thats the heading the the sub menu has about 20 or more choices but none of them say stats.
One choice says statistics_files.tar
but that doesnt work either.
What ya think?
Oh, none of the choices says historical on any of the sub menus that i toggle through

Oh, none of the choices says historical on any of the sub menus that i toggle through

when you hit Import you will have to navigate your way to the stats folder then select historical database odb.
What choices do you have i am on a normal PC Windows XP. use the up and previous tabs. see if these SS's help
