Controlling one fighter in a bout

A rookie question. I am trying to figure out how to take over the round-by-round strategy from the AI.

When I create a game, I am unable to un-check "simulation." My guess is that if this stays checked, I cannot change a fighter's strategy before each round. Or does "simulation" have some other function?

Having just downloaded the game, I tried a sample bout, changed "normal" to "fight outside defensively," hit confirmed . . . yet the AI changed "normal" to a different strategy.

That simulation checkbox is the way you are going to play, in the next version we will have a carrer mode, so over there will include those two options!

To choose the strategy of your fighter, you need to go to the fight options and uncheck the Automatic Strategy for: "your fighter"
