Manager "Auto-played" two days before exporting

I have a manager who auto-played two days without realizing it I guess. Anyway, he's worried about his file now. He sent an export, though I checked and it didn't make it through for me to d/l. Therefore, I'm guessing his changes are gone.

Should I tell him to re-d/l the original file and then check for the latest file in-game? Or, would the other option be to tell him to wait for the next sim and then check for the newest file once I upload it? In that case, he should be OK, no matter how far he simmed ahead, right?

Thanks for the help.

I he advanced to, for example, June 3 and exported with the commish's file is at June 1, it will not import. You'll get an invalid date.

How'd he 'advance two days without the commish password?

He would have to reload the file with the correct game date (or original and then update in-game), make the changes, and then export again.

^^^ That's what I suggested. However, since he had minimal changes that he doesn't care if they are lost, then could he just ride it out and when the new sim comes out he would be caught up? (after checking for the latest file, of course)

Thanks.
