One thing I don't understand about the Charlotte sports media. Whenever the Panthers lose, they want to ask what's wrong with the offense. They never question the D. In Panther losses the D avg 2.3 sacks & .67 turnovers. In 4 wins 5.7 sacks & 3.5 turnovers. How is Cam Newton & Kyle Allen at fault for the D output fluctuating like that? How are the Carolina WR's the problem? If the defense, particularly the front 7, don't come with it, the W's won't come either.

Something tells me Cam Newton is done for the year.

I'm posting this in hopes I jinx the Patriots this week. I am a jinx machine and could probably jinx god given the opportunity. But the Patriots look better to me than they did in 2007. Not offensively, but overall. Then when you consider the competition along the way, not much stands to challenge them. They play in the worst division and happen to also play the worst division in the NFC. And Belichick doesn't do trap games. So I think we might be looking at another 18-0 Super Bowl appearance.

Character is no barrier for being a Seattle Seahawks player, so if you have had jail time or think you might have jail time in the future, Seattle is your team.

Seahawks pursued Antonio Brown before claiming Josh Gordon

It's worked so far for the Patriots. One thing that irks me though is that when Commiss Badell started his conduct policy, he said franchises that have a history of bringing bad characters into the league would potentially subjected to fines. Because at the time, the bad boys of the NFL were the Bungles. So as anyone seen a franchise punished for such? Like the Patriots? Or the Raiders?

W/Jacoby Brissett's knee injury, 9 of 16 AFC teams have had to replace a starting QB this year. Patriots, Bills, Texans, Ravens, Chargers, Raiders & the Browns are the only teams who have yet to find the need or have seen a need to make a change.

You can't punish a team for signing legally eligible players.

God the Offensive Play caller of the Browns is as bad as it gets, several times tried to run inside in 3rd or 4th and short!!! Man you got Odell, Landry and Mayfield can scramble, what the hell are you doing??? How awful man, how awful.

Looks like the patriots didn't prepare enough during their eight game extended pre-season for their first opponent this year

Don't worry they will be more than ready for the re-match in January. The Ravens didn't present much of a gameplan, just ground and pound. Jackson still can't read and he won't be able to, if the first option is not there is either a sack or a scramble. The Patriots only needed to be more disciplined.

I'm really starting to think the Jets won't run the table and make the playoffs.

And it looks like Miami's roster purge is finally working, and they have begun their playoff push!

I think the race for the #1 pick is more interesting than the Super Bowl race. Chase Young looks like a monster. If Tua gets picked #1 that could be a big mistake.

1) If the Dolphins are tanking they lost the plot yesterday.

2) If the Dolphins are tanking what the heck are the Bengals doing
