KHL Salary bug

Hi!

I recently finished my first season in the KHL, and I came across a rather game breaking bug (At least to me).

I was trying to sign free agents when I noticed that my free agent budget was decreasing along with offers I made. Even though the players rejected my offers and went to other teams, they money is still unavailable to me. It says that I have 3,925,000 USD in offered contracts, and 242,501 USD in available free agent budget.

My team's budget is at 19,000,000 USD, and I'm only using 14,800,000 USD at the moment but I still can't sign new players.

I noticed that other people have come across this issue as well, but that thread was from back in 2014. This makes my current save unplayable because I can't field a competitive team this season... Is there any official solution that doesn't require me to use third party software? I'd rather not do that.

Could you upload the save? (Instructions here.) We've been having trouble replicating this, it'd be very useful to have an example where the problem is still active, particularly to this degree.

Sorry, I forgot to reply to this thread. Thank you Alessandro for the fix! It did help to restart the game (Don't know how I didn't think of that...)

And to Jeff, I've uploaded the save to your ftp. This is the season after, but it's the same bug, and this time it doesn't help to restart the game. The file is called "KHL salary bug jdek"

Thanks guys!

I'm not seeing it in that save - if I check the manager home screen, there's an open offer to Jesper Bratt, and if I remove that, the available money for free agents returns to about $1.1 million (the exact difference between the budget and current payroll) from $0 and I can sign free agents again. Is something else happening when you try it?

This is what I said earlier in the other thread. If you restart the game, the bug corrects itself, thus it's hard to get it reproduced.
You should try and sign some UFAs yourself

Yeah, I was able to remove the offer but the budget didn't reset. It didn't reset when I restarted the game. So I tried to sim a day forward and then restart, and that solved it. It seems like there is awlays a way to fix it. But having to restart after every denied offer is a little tiring. I'll try to upload a new save next time it happens!
