Spring Training is here. We had a very disappointing offseason. We failed to sign SS Rich Aurilla which leaves a weakness at SS this year offensively. We failed to sign all 5 of our draft picks including CL Bobby Thigpen.
It looks like it will be a mini rebuild yr. We will have to address SS in either a trade, draft or offseason. Harmon Killebrew looks to be a good 1B but he is still really young and wont be a major factor this yr. Ray Durham is without a position for now and will platoon with Howie Kendrick. We dont have a great bench. With the fact we play 60 games this season, up from 30, Mike Mussina will see more starts.

Going into 1872 i know we we are basically a .500 team. Although Doc White & Mussina are good SP we lack true power on this team although we do have overall good team speed. I dropped the ball by not being able to sign any of our draft picks.
