Taking the next step: using PowerVR Tools for 3D Modelling

I have gotten frustrated by the lack of shadowing and textures available going through the obj export approach to custom stadiums. So Ihave taken the plunge into the tools that generate the .pod files which are source data for the graphics for 3D mode in OOTP. Precursory, it will take a while to reverse engineer this but my goals are as follows:

1) Method to convert OBJ files to POD files and get the level of detail and texturing you get with the default stadiums with custom stadiums.
2) If I can master that I am going to look into custom uniforms in 3D mode including catcher gear and pants. I already realize this might be stretch, but here's to walking in blindly.

Has anyone else tried this? Would love a little guidance from the powers that be.

Good luck with that. Hope it works out. Jorin has sent me something a while back about importing the the obj into blender and generating texture maps there for shadows. I gave it a look but couldn’t figure it out for the life of me.

Unfortunately, I had the info via pm message on these boards, and that has been deleted because of the small space allowed. I can pm him again and see if he can re-send
