CW - Sorry if I wasn't clear in my request. What I'm most interested in is the following data for your players:
Pitching - Games, Games started and Saves; Fielders - Positions and Games per position. If this is not easily available let me know and I will rely on player career data to make some decisions. IMHO the AI is seriously flawed. To me it makes some role decisions that only a GM on a 7 day bender would even contemplate. It seems to apply to both pitching and fielding roles. For my personal version of your game I'm going to take the time to reassign roles where I feel they are warranted. But then half my fun playing with baseball sims is in stat details and how they work in the game. Mac

Sorry, I don't have the games chart for pitchers easily accessible. For pitching assignments, career stats would probably be your best bet anyway. You can also use the in-game stamina to clue you in to how they imported.
For hitters, here's the basic part of my fielding csv that you can use: download AllTimeFieldingGames.csv

Thanks again
CW thank you for the fielding data file. Just exactly what I needed. Had already decided on using pitcher career stats to make my changes. So far I've made a couple attempts to set up my game version based on your players. Make a few last minute changes in what I want and so have gone back to square one but it's keeping me out of trouble (and out of my wife's hair ).

Glad I could help.
I also found out from 4shared that this has been downloaded 100 times now!

Loving this all-time set...BIG TIME. I've always wanted someone to do something like this or do something like this myself if I knew how. (I know nothing about neutralizing stats and creating realistic fielding ratings and such.) But I've got a question for you: What constitutes a qualifying season? I can't seem to figure this out on my own.
Otherwise, I can't complain AT ALL about this set. There are some things that would be cool to see in this set, but the lack of them is hardly a problem. Keep it up and thanks for this. P.S. I love the surprises that come out of these sort of leagues. The Royals, with the worst record out of all the playoff teams, who would've missed the playoffs if the modern Yankees were in their division, won the first season that I simulated and went 12-1 in the postseason. (They only swept Ty Cobb and the Wolverines in the LDS and Jimmie Foxx and the Athletics in the LCS, and also outpitched Satchel Paige and the Monarchs in a four games to one Series victory.) These kind of results are why I love all-time leagues like this. |

A qualifying season was based on PA for hitters and (GS + G) for pitchers. GS + G is the only way I was able to get starters and relievers on even ground. I don't remember my cutoff levels anymore, but I was fairly generous.

Thanks for answering promptly. It's okay if you don't remember how you chose the 3,000-so players in your league a few months ago, I understand.

yes agree great quick start
thanks really enjoyed just finished a season where the Gothams defeated the Highlanders. Ruth lead league in homers with 34 but was injured in playoffs and missed the ws. Also one cool note Christy Mathewson defeated Satchel Paige twice in Pennant series. One question though can I use this for a career league?

Fantastic work. Hoping you can help me with a problem I'm having. Trying to add the ballparks from the MBL10Show mod. I've got the pictures in the right place. I copied the parks.dat file over to the .lg folder for the game, but when I try to select a new ballpark I still have just the original two choices (Blank & Zero). Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

If you want to add in ballpark pics, you'll also have to add the stadiums (with dimensions, etc.).
