*nods* Yeah, it does work that way when I try it as well. The problem is that, given how I use the list, it means having to change the filter almost every time I look at it, so it's actually quicker to wait through the reloads. This did not happen in v17, either, even when my free agent file was four times the size it is now.

I didn't have the problem in 17 or previous versions either. My free agent list had over 8000 players. I figured deleting all of the half star guys was the right step. No one was ever going to sign them anyway and it reduced the size of the list by almost 75%. I'll keep my eye on the size of pool of free agents going forward so it doesn't get too big for the program to handle.
