Thanks for the helpful advice.

This IS a restarted league, we've only been running since August on OOTP. But it's also also league that has also history going back to 1989 on another platform. You can find out more on our blog.

Interested in Arizona.

One question though, no overall ratings or potential?

We use the 20-80 ratings/potential system. We are fairly democratic however, and anything that can be changed can be suggested to the GMs for a vote.

Alright, responded via email.

Thanks.

I meant for overall and potential. I see you use 20-80 for current/potential in each category. I meant for OVR rating. I didn't know 20-80 was an option there, but it absolutely is, so I was misreading. Thanks.

Just to chime in here as a GM for anyone reading and considering, the Bull League is lots of fun and growing quickly, with a bunch of great features that boost the immersion nicely. Creative and original teams and players, weekly podcasts, frequent real-time sim broadcasts, off-season international leagues for prospect development, 20+ years of history with long-standing rivalries and records, etc.

Only down-side is that anyone joining will have to endure continuous losses at the hands of the legendary Ohio Oxen, who laugh and scoff at all attempts by other teams to obtain a championship. Just ask Ohio catcher Tyrone O'Saurus who says: "Any chumps who say they can take the Cup away from the Oxen, are talkin' Bull!!"

Other than that, as long as you're good with coming up short in your quest for the title, you really can't lose (except to the Oxen.. which you will) !

Thumbs up

The HATMAN is a great guy and a valuable member of the ABL and from what I have seen of him in our league joining one of his leagues would be a good move if you have the time to commit.

Bump. Still plenty of teams available, and although we are a "real time sim" league, we have a Winter rookie minor level starting Jan 16th which will mean constant baseball, real time sims and things to do right through to the end of the year.

Updated the available team list. 12 of 20 teams are available, and our Winter Rookie ball just started.

Also, STATSLAB was added this week, adding loads more depth.

BUMP.

About half of our teams are still open, and we're starting to see the fermentation of a really good group of active GMs. With our league well into the winter rookie level season, and about to start college/HS, things will get busier and more baseball-y.

Already we're seeing some great talent forming for future seasons!

Using Slack, StatsLab, StatsPlus and much more... podcasts, YouTube channel, great "bg league" style website, etc.
