Playoff Rotations

Is there a setting I'm missing to fix playoff rotations? Playing historical and having a 1 man rotation turn into a 3 man rotation in the playoffs and then 2 man rotations turns into 4 man rotations is causing me to micromanage more than I would like. Is there a way to just get the game to leave the rotations to the default size in the playoffs without requiring me to edit them every year?

If you are playing pre 1901 there is no World Series when there was a 1 man rotation. So it makes sense for it to go to a 3 man rotation when you play games more often. After 1901 the default should be 3 or 4 which would stay the same for the World series. Otherwise you can edit them in League Settings - Stats. It will apply for all teams.

What am I editing in league settings - stats? Starting rotation size? It's pretty irrelevant what I do there since it defaults to a 3 man rotation in the playoffs with a 1 man rotation set there and a 4 man rotation with a 2 man rotation set there.

I guess I'll just keep editing it. It's a bit of a pain though.

One thing I'd note here is that OOTP does not use historically correct post-season schedules. That means, depending on the year, the user's and/or AI's pitching rotation may benefit or be hindered as compared to real life.

Is this still a problem? I thought this had been fixed a while ago. Here's a thread I started in 2011 that complained about the same thing.

It's still here and it's annoying. You are right. Any amount of fatigue means that the right guy won't start.

The AI teams seem to put their top relievers in those spots so even if you spread the games out manually (which I have done in the past) those guys being listed as starters will still result in less than optimal team performance. If the team digs into the bullpen they aren't going to be pulling their top relievers since they are listed as starters.
