where are the run downs.
Where are all the plays where players are caught in run downs? Where are the bad base running play? Where is the contact play? Do these plays happen and I'm just not seeing them?

I've never seen a rundown.

I know at least in 14 I got a couple bad baserunning plays. I haven't seen that yet in 15, though to be fair I haven't played out anywhere near enough games to give you a confident answer. Run downs I don't remember ever seeing. And not sure what you mean by contact plays.

Contact play means having a runner on 3rd base go for home as soon as the batter makes contact. This can lead to things that never happen in OOTP, e.g. batter lines out to shortstop, who throws to 3B to double off the runner.

Which I've ironically seen at least twice in 15 alone.

Maybe not a contact play but I'm quite sure I've seen that too.

Both plays posted here have happened in the current WS I'm playing.

I have seen that once. I have seen double-ups off a line-out lots of times.
The oddest one I have seen is the hidden ball trick. After a triple. I was PISSED!

See, everyone? The plays do happen.
Nothing more to see here, move along.

I'm not sure if this play was introduced by today's 15.4.19 patch, but I just saw this rundown play take place and remembered this old thread -- here, the runner got caught between bases and after some back-and-forth wound up being called out for going out of the baseline.

Now we need to see:
Runner from 2nd tries for 3rd, OUT after rundown, runner from first tries for 2nd, during rundown and is SAFE (or OUT).
