Feeder league question
Hey guys,
I have a fictional league with the following feeders Aaa Aa A Short a Rookie College College Junior college Hs Hs Hs The reason for the two colleges and three high school leagues is because I was under the impression each league had a limit. The main question I have is there a way to make it where one college league and one high school league has better talent? So the top college level get the best girls and when recruiting in high school I have one league that is stronger than the other? Matt |

You would be able to alter the player creation modifiers I would think. One higher than the other would do it.

Im not at the cpu but it is the last tab in league settings. It's either "stats" or "strategy"
I did something very similar in my United States baseball quickstart. I have high school, ncaa and two "elite baseball academy" feeders that have like 10% better player creation modifiers than the ncaa to simulate it being elite talent. I will edit my post or post a screenshot when I am back at the cpu if you can't find it.

It's actually under "players" for the respective league. I'm making you a screenshot right now, it'll be like 2 minutes.

Just go here under the league settings for the league in question. It depends on the level of the minors what the modifiers start as, but it should be self explanatory how to change them for what you are trying to accomplish. Hope this helps, enjoy your feeder leagues! They are much fun once set correctly.

Jay,
Last question in regards to this??? So how many levels are players created in? I mean do College teams only picked players from my 3 High School Feeder leagues or are some picked from there and some created? Same with my minors? are all players in the minors picked from HS and NCAA? Matt |

I know you were asking Jay but there is a setting in there for thst too. If he beats me to it before I get to my game great but if not I'll check and let you know. I think it's where the league has its draft rules. You can set it for just feeder league or both feeder and fictional.
If you are using a huge fictional league and the possible international FA then I wouldn't use fictional other than the feeders but that is just my opinion. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk |

I honestly haven't set up feeders in a league this year, but remember -- your minor leagues are NOT feeder leagues, so no, they will not have players created there. In your draft settings for your parent league (MLB, we'll stipulate) there is an option to use "Feeder League Players Only" or "Feeder plus created" (not the exact wording, but you'll know it when you see it.) If you know you are generating enough players to handle your draft, then set it to Feeder League only. One thing to know is that the number of players available in the draft in the first season will be just a touch less than what you will normally have. (If it's 910, think 960 or so in later years.) I hope this helps, please feel free to ask more questions if you have them, I have lots of experience with the feeder system.

Is there a limit or a size of my NCAA feeder system?
Can I put 64 teams in that league? |

Ok I think I got this now but one question.
Do I need enough high school players so that college schools do not have to create players? For example if 5 players graduate high school don2 go to college and 3 go to the pros? So therefore I almost need twice as many high schools to make sure ayers are not created in college??? |

There is no limit in size but I think it is still going to create players. Again, to simulate that not everyone plays high school ball that is a talented player.
