Guy pitching a perfect game through the ninth, when this happens: https://i.gyazo.com/b1ba6202df805c28...03746de02d.png The batter Fujimoto couldn't throw out went on to score a run, although he did still bag a no-hitter by retiring the next three hitters. The in-game paper naturally covered it with praise, but I can't imagine how humiliating that would feel. To make matters worse, that would have been the league's first perfect game in 29 years of play. A hotshot Dominican named Danny Garcia got that honor instead just four days later. I had this happen soon as I started a 1950 historical game, so I could include the full history of the Nippon League. This changes the course of history for the Giants big time to not have their biggest young star because he's busy playing basketball. I'm curious if he'll come back to baseball later or if he's just gone for good.

So, in my fictional league, created in OOTP17 and continued in OOTP18, my young lefty reliever Russell Hunter did this...
Yep, that's 11 consecutive strikeouts... ...and then he had to leave the game with shoulder tendinitis. |

And it took him only 55 pitches

I had a 23 inning game in Spring Training and ran out of characters for substitutes.

Fictional Padres 2028 game, preseason predictions. Before Spring Training, so I have 6 starters selected. I actually have an excellent seventh guy I could start too.
I just went back to '18 while waiting on a bug fix for '19. Not sure if I can start this game, it would never live up to this . Last edited by Pedro; 04-15-2018 at 12:27 PM. |
