I hope not. It's a real life carnival show worse than WWE

I play fictional so I was just wondering if anyone can tell me whether OOTP has been programmed to spam the user with puff piece news articles every time Tebow hits a homer, or makes a running catch, or gets hit by a pitch like what happens in real life?

.218/.294/.351. At high A. At age 29.
No. I'm not impressed. I'm annoyed. Go away. I've never seen such a marginally talented person get so many chances and so much attention. |

Michael Jordan was one of the greatest basketball players of all time, at least he had that going for him. I was 19 years old in 1994 and wasn't laser focused on baseball at that time but I remember having a sense at that time that everybody understood that Jordan playing baseball was just a lark and he would go back to basketball, which is what happened. I get the sense this Tebow thing wants to be taken seriously. Honestly, it's not even Tebow I have a problem with, per se. It's his fan club and the sports media that wants to treat him like every little thing he does is precious and special and worth reporting. If he wants to play baseball and somebody else wants to let him, fine. I just don't need to hear about it every time he puts a ball in play. The attention given is not proportional to the level of talent and accomplishment. Wake me up when he makes it to the Majors. Until then, NO INTEREST.

Found this old thread. Just finished my 2018 Mets season. Tebow spent his season in Binghamton AA. Coaches must’ve thought slim of him as he garnered only 33 AB. He must’ve got pissed and he retired. No more tebow
