Free Agent asking for $1.25B (yes, BILLION). Is this a bug or a greedy player?

I created a 1993 world and using 1993 financials, at the end of the season, I see a bunch of players asking for over a BILLION dollars. About three months have passed and these players demands go down to $980M.

Is this some sort of glitchy bug or is it some sort of import error? Or are these particular players out of their minds?

Church your league financials setul. You must have an extra 0 in there somewhere especially in player default salries

Was his agent named Scott Boras?

More seriously, I agree with andyhdz, sounds like an error in the player salaries.

not a single league has a Billion dollar setting. I think the highest "superstar" player is at $3.64M in MLB.

A screenshot of your league's financials page would be helpful, if possible.

There's definitely a modifier off in one of the leagues. It'll be one of the salary settings that's a couple zeros too high for the league.

You'll want to look through each league until you find the one with the modifier that's too big.

I'd start with checking whatever league the player last played in, it's most likely that one.

Not sure what it was but the first thing I did was run the Financial adjustment in the Global settings. It seemed that in 1994 it resolved itself, but I will double check at the end of the season.

The only other thing I have noticed is that it doesn't show the playoff tree properly in other leagues (logos of teams against each other).
