New Patch Blew Up Neutralized Stats

New patches have ruined historical leagues with neutralized stats.

After the latest patches (.54 and the .56 hotfix), I tried creating a new 1962 historical game using neutralized stats and found the ratings and preseason predictions were deeply messed up. To test whether it was a problem with neutralized stats, I set up another league with real stats. The screenshots below show the differences. League setups are out-of-the-box, with "use development engine" instead of "recalc" selected in both cases. Compare the two, and you will easily see the problem with the neutralized stats setup.

No, as documented elsewhere on this forum, I blew up neutralized stats not OOTP.

It has been fixed and will appear in the next patch or two.

Nobody reported any issues but almost no one uses them so it may have just not gotten noticed.

Hot fixes are just for big issues.

This is tiny. I am pretty sure it will be in the next patch/update.

I run an online league where I import players using neutralized stats for the draft every season. My draft import is tomorrow morning. Can anyone update me on the progress of getting an update for this, or am I going to be forced to use real stats in order to proceed? Thanks!

It will be released in the next update. Unknown date.

One thing to keep in mind is that no new neutralized will be added for years after 2015 due to a lack of interest by gamers. This mode currently has less than 7 users AFAIK.

7? I think I can count 7 between just in this thread and the trade thread on the historical forum...No new updates/support is INCREDIBLY disappointing news...

Agreed, that's a bummer. I've always used it for my offline historical games.

So, can someone confirm: Until the next patch, we will have to choose "Real Stats" instead of "Neutralized Stats" in the League Settings/Base Ratings On setup, or we'll probably get some crazy results. Furthermore, for any leagues going up to 2016, we'll want/have to do this regardless of the patch?

For 2016 they won't exist so you won't get wonky stats but probably just an error message.
