Look at it this way. The game (sadly) has no gender setting, so it calls any female player/owner/personnel "he" anyway. Therefore, the game is already unisex, and EVERYONE is by definition homosexual!

It isn't going to change anything if that little pawn playing LF or the man or woman who DIGITALLY just took over my IN GAME franchise is listed as gay. If you want a story added to the game announcing that the new owner of the Atlanta Braves is the first openly gay owner, then go into the news story file and create one. I would much rather see Markus and crew use those resources to introduce full coaching staffs or something that actually has something to do with the GAME PLAY instead of something that means absolutely nothing to a VIDEO GAME.

Please close (or move) this thread, it is not a bug or technical issue.
If it doesn't matter then why not allow it? Who are you to say the gaming experience for others would not be enhanced with the inclusion of such a feature?

Then by all means sell is on why this would enhance a BASEBALL game? Last time I went to ESPN or MLB or Baseball Reference and looked at a player's bio, I did not see a field labeled Sexual Orientation. So please....tell us how spending money on developing something like this would enhance the game and justify it to the customer base why it made it in instead of something like the addition of a full coach system or umpires or even an in game 3D stadium designer?
