WHA & NHL sim setup?

I would like to create a league in 1973 with BOTH all the WHA and NHL playing in same league.

Is this possible? How would i set this up?

possible, yes. With a custom league. But easy it will not be... Because for the moment there is no possibility to use historical rosters in customs leagues. In the custom creation hazard you have an option for the start date, but it's only cosmetic : it's only affecting the calendar, not the financial or the roster.

So for the moment, your only choice is to start a custom league and to manually add the players (modifying the randoms created ones) by using the informations of an historical starts. If your not on steam (e-sellerate version) you can have multiples saves opens at the same time.

Overall yes it's possible, but time consuming and be aware that the devs cannot assure us when the game will be saves compatible (not like OOTP for now). Just imagine yourself working 6 weeks for creating your perfect league, play one or two seasons for knowing that you will have to restart everything cause FHM6 is not saves compatible...

Sadly there is almost no customization available on historical leagues at this point. Hopefully at some point.
