Probably a dumb question on Historical Sims

Couldn't find anything specific in a search.

Starting a Historical League in the 80's or 70's with the "Automatically expand league" option turned on, will the league evolve exactly as it is to modern day?

Will Montreal lose the Expos to Washington D.C.? Will each league have 3 divisions and 2 wild cards etc. or could the league evolve differently compared to today?

Thanks in advance

If the box for historical expansion is checked, yes, Montreal will become Washington, divisions will align according to history and the playoff format will follow history.

Instead of starting another thread with perhaps another dumb question, I'll ask here:

Starting a historical game in the late 70's. The Interleague Play option is unchecked. Will it turn itself on when the 1997 season starts with the Automatically Expand League option ON? How do I ensure this abomination never occurs in my game?

Thanks

It will "turn itself on" because the game uses historical schedules. You can load a custom schedule with no interleague play to prevent it.

Remember, there are no dumb questions, except for the ones I ask.
