Neutered stats is where you get 18's for import. If players are entering with their MLB debuts you are inadvertently pointing to another database.

The only file you have to edit is the master.csv in the neutralized folders (if you use neutralized stats). Players that have id numbers ending in the 80's, 90's or end in 00 did not play in the major's, do a search in the second column for 8*, 9*, 00 and delete those rows (it's not that hard, they're usually in large blocks).

After this Negro League players who played in the majors will still import in the year they turned 18/19. If you want them to enter when they entered MLB or organized baseball, you have to pick them out and change their debut date (Column Z). The only way to do this is to find out who played in the Negro Leagues and the majors and when they debuted (I missed some).

The last step I took was in the game's default real stats folder and copy and paste Lahman's data over the real stats folder in Spritze's so players would import with prevous major league stats. I don't know if this is necessary.

It imports into OOTP17 and the game functions perfectly well. I haven't done a test yet to see how well it works.

So where or how can we get the minor league guys into this mix? The continual League changes in the minors makes me dizzy!

There are quite a few minor league guys in the mix already.

I am not sure what you mean by dizzy? The OOTP17 real minor league setup is different than my database for OOTP16. Just stick with the fake minors in 16?

Spritze, thank you for all you do. When you say stick with the fake minors in 16, do you mean your stats set or the game version itself? I'm sorry to be a dunce on this. I must be missing something obvious, as usual.

Spritze do you have a DB for 17? It's cool to have minors but I still have Negro League and *** players coming into the majors when they appeared in their original league vs actual ML appearance.

The Spritze database has Japanese, Korean and Negro Leaguers. OOTP 17 does not.

Sometime in the next week or two I'll have a new Spritze database available with about 83,000 new player seasons added.

It will now cover MLB and PCL rookie debuts from 1871-1914 and 1940-2015 completely and partials for 1915-1939.

Will we be able to create our own minor leagues and still use it? I am not having much luck with the yearly changes in all the minor leagues and their structures and affiliations. Hoping to find a workable alternative.

I would like the minor league players, but in the minor leagues setup (or close to it) that I have been using for years. Can I get the players without the leagues?

Same players as before, just a few more complete season records have been added.

The Spritze database does not care about affiliated teams and leagues (anything goes) and has 150,000 fewer players in it than the built in one.
