Oops, a problem

Hi there,

It`s late September in my save, and I need to check my personnel to offer contract extensions etc etc.

It jumps out at me straight away...!

I`ve been paying my trainer $3.5 Million a year, instead of $350,000,I blame bad eyesight/small boxes to type figures into etc.

Anyways he has 4 years of his $3.5 Million contract to run !!

If I fire him ,does his contract go with him,or do I have to pay it like you do when you release a player,ie spread over the years of his contract ?

Thanks...should have gone to Spec Savers !!

Correct. After you’re done editing, go back and uncheck Commisioner Mode.

And next time watch your zeros!

You select you GM name from the top drop down, then Other Human Managers->Add Edit Managers. On the right select your manager and on the left you can check the Play in Commissioner mode box. This is where you can create more GMs also.

I would recommend creating a GM, giving them commissioner powers and not hiring them to run a team. The commissioner has some advantages a normal GM does not. There are also mistake (delete player) that are available in commissioner mode that can make for painful mistakes. I usually have my GM and an extra GM that is the commish.

I always name my commissioner account "Rick Hummel".

" Known throughout baseball by his nickname "The Commish", he is a former President of the Baseball Writers' Association of America.[3]"

Just found the Commish button for any other newbies with bad eyesight like myself.

Your Managers name---Manager Options---- half way down the page on the right hand side..Commish Option.

I feel so Hommer Simpson ..Doh!
