sortable screens/lists/whatever! not just some that are functional and some not so much at all.
lol. yeah, there is another subforum for this, but i though this was just a comiserating thread? a little fun? oh a serious one -- the season and career records data shouldn't have to reload after clicking a profile and exting back to the list / records page. once loaded, that data is good until a game is played, otherwise it cannot change. i can avoid it sometimes by 'back'ing through history, but if you open a profile, it's a guaranteed load time for that page even though nothing has changed since the last time it was viewed.. if it works sometimes without that lag, it can work without the lag all times except first load or time advances. |

Reading the thread...I was just thinking the same thing. Also would like an ITP type mode or complete revival and be able to import into OOTP.

OOTP 20 needs two things to make this a perfect game:
1) Head to head Online games over the net for human managers. 2) Please find a way to limit game play for players with low ABs and Innings pitched or at the very least make it easy to monitor this for the commissioner and GM's. A window should help ID players after a certain level - like 110% of ABS or IP's.. This would help make replays a lot more realistic. |

How about having a Feature to make your own database again in OOTP20.
We used to like being creative and having roster mods, but now we are stuck with ever what the roster team supplies and when they supply it. Rotating Player Ids because the system is full(Nate Causey PlayerID#1). At least pay someone to keep up the rosters during the season with all the new players. Every other Main Stream Sports Program does. Opening Day Rosters are Great! but what about after Opening Day? Wait til the seasons over for more? How are Today's MLBers suppose to play with last years rosters? Get out of the 90's and into the Millennial! |

As most years I ask for some better Import of real manager (and perhaps even coaches). Starting any Historical setup brings in that's year correct real managers, but that is it.
Why not be able to import some of the others that in real life got back in managing the coming year. Some of the great managers did take 1-2 years off then came back. They are in some DB with all correct win-loss stats since they are popping up in the starting year. We got retire in historical correctness so why not "turning" up as manager when players in the future starts to manage. One way or the other would be possible and it brings massive realism to historical playing. The options today is ridiculous with tons of Asians avalaible to MLB in the 60s-70s as managers and coaches. Can't possible think that was the case back then, hardly even now. Second !! Bring in 1stBase and 3rdBase coaches to the game. As a manager you could instruct them to "realease" a player running the bases to be more bold or just cool down a hot-head trying to stretch it. The importance of some 1st base coaches to how stealing 2nd progress is vital in RL. If you got a player that has huge SB during his career he can then get a better stat on knowledge on how to steal 1st Base. That should give some runners a bigger shot on stealing a base. 1st and 3rd base coaches brings a new aspect to the game IMHO. |

Teams can build new ballparks, which would decrease cash on hand but increase attendance for a few years and increase team interest. Ballparks aging - Astrodome in 1965 was the 8th wonder of the world. by 1995 it was an eyesore.

How about Free Agents are less willing to sign with you if you sign a guy and trade him immediately. Also, I never liked seeing guys that are recently signed as free agents on other teams come up in trade offers. Seems unrealistic.

Allow pre 1901 teams to play other era teams in historical exhibition mode.

First - Add an option to force role Stopper for the bullpen. When I get a high stamina awesome reliever, or convert a starter, I want the stopper role available when I'm simming, without being forced to change the entire strategy for the entire league to get the stopper role available. Right now, we can only force starter, reliever, or closer.
Second, I would just love an option to force my managers to train a player as a utility fielder so I don't have to manually force a player in the minors to spend a third of the season at 2nd a third at 3rd, and a third at short to try to get a utility guy. I just get frustrated and open the editor and add it myself. |

+1 the new ballpark idea. Seems like an additional way to impact (for good or ill) fan interest and loyalty

I just want to see improvements to the trading AI, and shopping players. It would be nice if there was a filter to remove overpaid players from shop results. Also, would like to see prospects actually being offered in shopping.

Yeah, when I ask for prospects, I'm looking for players up to about 21, not 24-year-olds who haven't yet made it to the bigs.

More reports and graphs. I'd love to be able to see history and trends for player and team stats over time.

1. Better graphics and animations while playing out games.
2. Much more realistic Spring Training with Grapefruit League & Cactus League, and real life ST stadiums (and even better, historical spring training leagues and stadiums, and maybe even real historical ST schedules with split squads). 3. Historical stadiums for historical leagues included with the game (or maybe a small additional purchase price). Those 3 things along with even better PT would put me in baseball heaven. |

I am currently an OOTP 18 user. I'd like to see more robust and easier to customize reporting particularity in the historical all time leader reports.
1) For example, in the Team History Leaders it gives you a Top 10 in each stat for batter and pitchers. I'd like to be able to customize this to see the top 50 or top 100. 2) Same goes for the all time historical leaders. I'd like to be able to easily see the top 100 all time HR hitters, Win leaders, Save leaders, etc. As far as I know you can only see the all time leader in each. 3) I'd also like to see more love to the Hold category. I'd like to see the league leaders each season in this stat and see it included in the historical all time leaders. 4) I'd also like to see an easy way to view each full draft by year. I can view each team's historical drafts but not each full draft by year. It seems like it's displayed during the actual draft but once completed it's not saved anywhere that I am aware of. And if there's already a good way to view any of these please advise. Thanks ! Last edited by oli1233; 11-28-2018 at 12:45 PM. |

Some good suggestions here - suggest putting them in the actual "Suggestions" forum where they're more apt to get attention by the right people
