Anyway to use a real picture for a player while also using Facegen?

I'm using facegen, but I was wondering if I could use a custom pic for some of my players. I play a fictional league and import real players such as Ruth or Banks. Is there anyway I can use one of their real player pics from the web or am I stuck with just facegen?

I tried to delete the pic that corresponded with the player number and replaced it with the real pic I wanted to use but it didnt work, it just recreated the facegen pic.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

One way to do this is to put your photos of the real players in your 'photos' directory in your OOTP directory in 'My Documents' and save the photos as babe_ruth.jpg or ernie_banks.jpg and the game looks for pictures that are named in this format for players before it starts looking for the player_id.I'm pretty sure this is correct b/c I have a fictional league and every now and then I get a player with the same name as a real MLB player and it pulls it from my actual player photos instead of using the facegen pic, so I just change the players name. If I'm wrong, please someone correct me.

Falkonisback, I tried what you suggested, but it didnt work. I put the renamed photo in both the league images folder where my other player images are kept and in the photos directory, as you stated. I deleted his facegen pic, and it recreated the pic. It was actually the same one, which was strange. I guess hte game remembers which facegen pic it gives a player number. I tried renaming it .png and .jpg but neither worked. Not a big deal, I guess. Thanks for the help anyway.

Did you reload the game after you added the real picture? You have to do that for the game to find the real picture and assign it to the player.

Hmm. Reload like shut it down and start up again? No, didnt try that. I'll have to look into it. Thanks.
