Any way to make Real Life Facegen Replicas??
I am doing a real MLB league with real rosters but I don't want to use photo packs (I like seeing the face gens when players move teams). Is there any way to make a facegen look like the real player? I.e. Albert Pujols looking like he does in real life in the facegen??? Thx!

If you mean the uniforms? That is somewhat easy. There are sites that have the packages you can download.

Yeah but last time I did that they stayed black or stayed white - it didn't change their race...any idea? For example I wanted to make Big Papi in my MLB re-do, but he was a skinny white guy (lol) and all I could change was his hair.

You can always change a players nationality to an African country, then get a new picture, and when done, change the players nationality back to the US. I haven't tried this but I would assume it would change a white player to black doing so.

It's really easy to change a player's ethnicity in the player editor. Back when this version of OOTP came out, I asked if there was any potential possibility that someone could make a real-life facepack so that we could see the faces of real players but they would age and change uniforms when traded, etc. The answer was no, the game is not currently set up to be able to do that. I don't know the technical details or if anything has changed.

I have the program (legal too) but only paid $250 for it as it was at half price for my friend because he is a student going to school for this type of stuff. The only thing I am missing is the hair models. (If anyone can help out with that(the hair models), I would be greatly thankful).

I'm not sure if this is what your looking for, but if you go to a players profile, hit the editor tab, and you should find a drop down menu labeled ethnicity or something. You can then make them hispanic, asian, caucasion, or african or whatever. However, you'd have to do this for all the players you want to change, so that could take awhile.

it'd almost be easier to edit the player's photo when they change teams, wouldn't it? or you could get a photo pack (or create one) where the player's hat and jersey logo are cut off the pic. Then changing the pics would be easy - simply a hue adjustment.
I've been known to do some similar photo editing in my day. It's kinda fun. Let me know who you want on what team and i'll give one or two a go for ya |
