Player wrongly ineligble for postseason roster

I have a player who i cannot get on my postseason roster even tho he was definitely on the 40-man roster AND in the majors before September.

I have quite a few injuries as well, and am forced to go one player short into the playoffs.

Note: I am on the day after the regular season ended and on the day the "Playoffs Begin" note shows up in the calendar. It's two days before the first game of the playoffs.

Please let me know if you need any other info, and also if there's anywhere I can go into as commissioner or where ever to get this player on the playoff roster so I'm not playing at a disadvantage.

EDIT: I found the "Eligible for Playoffs" choice in the editor. I'm going to hold off on this tho in case I misunderstood the rules. Is it even possible for a team to go into the playoffs short of players due to not enough players eligible?

You can use that eligible for playoffs box in the editor to make him eligible.

What matters is where he was on the Aug 31/Sept 1 period. Was he demoted to the farm on that day? Anyone on the majors, on the DL, or on rehab on that date should count (or in league settings there's an option to simply allow anyone on the 40 to count, closer to the current MLB rules).

Ah, this is the case. I checked the game logs and he was in the minors on 8/31. Looks like I'm going into the playoffs with 24 players...

Thanks!

If you've placed guys on the DL, you should be able to replace them. Check on the playoff roster page. There in the bottom right it may tell you if you have open spots. If so, you may be able to add him in.

Yeah I had two spots, and I was able to replace one, but one is still open and I can't add anyone.
