Export/import player stats bugs

When exporting and reimporting career player stats from the league setup menu, I have the following two issues:

1. It does not retain league level, so if a player played for a team that was once a major league team but is now minor, those stats will turn into minor league stats after importing, despite league level being a field in the stats files. The import should retain the league level setting, even if it conflicts with the current league structure.
2. Career splits are erased. These are not included in the stats files so they are simply wiped out. Importing stats should not erase splits.

Unfortunately this has tarnished my very long-running online league in its 44th season.

EDIT: I just saw that there is again a working FTP server. I have uploaded my league files as TCBA.lg.zip. I would greatly appreciate this issue being addressed.

As an example, you can look at Rube Vroman who played for the Twin Cities/Minneapolis franchise. They are currently in an independent league, but when he played for them, they were a major league team. When I exported the stats, his league level was identified as major. When I imported them back, it ignored that and assigned the current values for those teams.

It seems like this issue might be of some importance to....I don't know....every single OOTP customer who plays in an online league. Surprised that there hasn't been a single response to the problem.

I'll use my first post in almost 4 years to say that I hope this gets fixed.

This is interesting, because I had a similar problem but with college and HS stats counting when I exported and imported players. So, for players I did this for, their career totals would be messed up. (Waves to former owner sporr.)

We have another issue regarding retired players who were "lost" from the retired.dat file (long story short - they retired under one simmer, next simmer wasn't given the retired.dat file, players became Jim Unknowns). I think I can import stats for these guys to "rebuild" the player, but they won't include splits. The implementation for importing players/stats was never quite complete, it seems.
