Friday, November 3rd, 2051: Halifax Reliever Gets EL Best Rookie Award
Stan Millar of the Blackbirds has a good year during 2051. In his debut season the Halifax center fielder hit .392 on his way to the Rookie of the Year. Millar collected 58 hits with 8 home runs, 36 RBIs and 36 runs scored. The error - Millar is a CF'er, not a Reliever. |

"Monday, July 20th, 2082: Ismail Claims 200th Victory
His goal at twenty was to win twenty games one year, pitch until he was thirty, win the league pennant and to make some money. Well, Robert Ismail did something even better -- the 32-year-old San Antonio Missions star has now won 200 games in his career. That put him in a very select group of pitchers in the ." the what? |

I just took the league name out to solve the problem. Apparently the league name token is not converting. It just leaves it blank. Last edited by Eugene Church; 07-14-2008 at 02:15 PM. |

This looks like Scouting. Markus probably has to fix this. I'll see if tysok knows what to do with it. He knows everything. |

Also, "has" should be "had". Past tense. |

Lowell was thrown out at third, trying to stretch his run, but the PbP misses this part of the play entirely......

You should post the error in the Tech Support Forum, too. You might get an answer quicker. Last edited by Eugene Church; 07-16-2008 at 02:04 PM. |

I don't know if this is the right spot for Loading Box Quote typo, but the Leo Durocher quote about integrity is missing the end quote.
I'll repost or move this if it's the wrong spot. |

Good eye. There are actually quite a few of the quotes that are missing the final ". The approach I took was to open up the misc file (where the hints are stored) and just made adjustments/additions to the file.

I'll post it in the Beta Forum for the persons who work on this aspect of the game. I'm sure it will be fixed. The Hints section has been greatly improved in OOTP9, both in variety and in giving you time to read them. In the past they would just pop up and then be gone just as quickly. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them while simming my test leagues. My thanks to the guys who worked on the Hints. |
