A question about player development in a standard MLB league.
My scout sends me e-mails about players, who, when I check out their profiles and the scouting report it says they're pitiful. Today, I was looking at transactions and somebody signed a pathetic player to the international complex. The scout is signed for two years at $600,000, his reputation is decent, and his scouting ratings are good for international and excellent for amateurs. Does anybody have any ideas about what's going on? Are these players going to exceed the initial scouting reports or do I need to fire my scout?

The vast majority of players signed to the International Complex are no-hopers, but once in a while there's a pleasant surprise. Your experience is absolutely typical and not a reason to look askance at your scouting director.
