Donruss 1990
I was going through some old baseball cards of mine and came across some packs of the Donruss 1990 series. This pack is somewhat special to me as it marks really the beginning of my "collection". Looking back, it appears this series was a popular gift for my 3rd birthday.
Moving on, here's a quick look at what I have come up with: (Real Set: http://bapple2286.files.wordpress.co...ss-pack-4a.jpg) As I noted in another post of mine yesterday, my cards are not a final product just yet, as the 2.17 patch for Mac has yet to be released. As a result, you might have noticed that pitchers strikeout totals have a .00 in the career total and hitters H in each season is actually their HR total while their career total is in fact correct. As soon as the patch is available for Mac's, I hope to get the final product of this set and my other previously posted set up. I also plan on continuing to come up with as many templates as I can. |

Wow there's a blast from the past. I remember that was the year that cards just exploded on the scene, and I've probably got enough of those to get six full sets out of them....too bad they're worth less then the cardboard they're printed on.

That card of T. Helton reminds me of a Carl Sandburg poem:
Are you happy, kid? Be happy, kid! But don't be too doggone happy! |

No updates as of now.
I was looking at these yesterday trying to figure out what to do for the All-Star and HOF Cards, but to be honest have been unable to decide on what to do. If there are any suggestions or wishes for those cards let me know. I probably will not have time to work on them much this weekend, but I could see time opening up early next week. |

Now there's something that is a piece of my childhood. Foolishly I carried a ton of these to school in my pocket when I was in first grade. They didn't last long.
I'd love to see a completed version so I can use them in the game. They may be my favorite card design (for the game) yet- not exceptionally nice but distinctive. |

My suggestion would be to have the Major League logo where the AL/NL logo shows and HOF logo there for Hall of Famers.

1990 Donruss Complete Set
The 1990 Donruss set is now complete.
Here is how everything looks. DEFAULT CARD: [Note: I noticed last minute that the Team Name was not centered in this card, I went back and changed it in XML, but do not have an updated picture to show at the moment.] ALL-STAR: HOF: This set has been zipped up into a small folder that includes the three necessary XML files along with a small number of image files that are needed to create the cards within OOTP. If any problems arise, please let me know and I will attempt to find the solution. 1990 Donruss.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download |

Cool, thanks! I think I'll make a small edit to the all-star for my ML set-up to load the AL/NL logos instead of the league logo. I think the league logo is the best choice because it will work with fictional and alternate formats, but I wanted the other logo for the ML setup.

Yes that's the list of all the cards that have been made. Scroll to the 1990's and right at the top is 1990 Dunruss in blue. Click on that to download the template. If that is what you want.

When I click on it it takes me to statslab baseball cards. I see a complete list of all the OOTP baseball card templates. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted. Maybe it was removed for some reason. If so, that page should be updated.

Post the link to which page the Donruss link takes you to. If you click on a Klavier link it takes you to a page with all the cards he made. i think fhommes does the same. Not for this one.

Yes I understand. It takes you back here. It must have been removed for some reason. I probably had that template too at one time. I lost a lot of stuff with a hard drive crash a few years ago. Nothing was recovered. I would think someone might have that template still. There are a few other ones that have a broken link in that list.
