Merging Roster Exports
How can I do this?
I have merged the AAA league, but I still need to add the players to the teams. So I have made a normal ML game and I have exported the rosters of the IL and PCL, and rudimentally merged the two files by adding the contents of one to the other. But in the game when I import it it only works for all but 7 teams. What am I doing wrong? Last edited by deknegt; 05-17-2014 at 04:00 PM. |

If that doesn't work, then it might be a problem with player ID numbers. In that case, try this: Count the number of players who aren't importing. Then, in the database you want to import them to, create that same number of free agents. Export the rosters and open them in Excel. Sort the created free agents into consecutive rows. Then, in your import rosters, copy and paste all those non-imported players EXCEPT their player ID numbers over the created free agents in your exported rosters. Then save as a .csv file and re-import into your database. Hope that helps. Last edited by OBSL Commish; 05-19-2014 at 01:21 PM. |

Another way to get team ID numbers is to go to any league's edit structure page and all the IDs are there to the right of the team name.
